July 5, 2009 : The Miami Valley Xpress 16U Pearson team were the Champions at GAPSS this weekend. The Xpress Gold team took second place in the 18U division at GAPSS.

June 27, 2009 Head softball Coach Mike Larabee (Wright State University) accepted the head coaching position at the University of Arkansas yesterday. This is a tremendous opportunity for Mike and the entire Xpress organization is extremely happy for him.

North Lewisburg College Fall Showcase

The Miami Valley Xpress Fall Collegiate Tour Team was the tournament champion at the North Lewisburg College Fall Showcase. They went 4-1 on the weekend playing against college teams. The Tournament Most Valuable Player Award was awarded to Chelsea Sherman from the Xpress Team. Xpress players, Graessle, Ledford and Sherman were also chosen for The All Tournament Team. Congratulations!

The Fall Collegiate Team’s record after this weekend is 17 wins, 3 losses and 2 ties. The team will wind up their fall season after playing in the prestigious Rising Stars Fall Showcase held in Davie Florida October 24^th-26^th

North Lewisburg College Fall Showcase Champions

September 27, 2008: The Miami Valley Xpress Fall Collegiate Tour Team was the tournament champion at the Red and White Classic in Wapakoneta. Ashley Skinner was named tournament MVP. McCall Sheppard and Chelsea Hortman were named to the all tournament team. So far the teams record is 12-1-2 against college competition.

September 1, 2008: The Miami Valley Xpress 14U team won the Queen of Diamonds 14U Tournament in Rock Hill, South Carolina over the Labor Day weekend. We went 5-0-2 and did not allow a run. Seven games-seven shutouts. It was a great way to end our season.

August 8, 2008 - - -

The Miami Valley Xpress 14U fastpitch softball team won the 2008 ASA 14U Eastern Regional National Fastpitch Softball Championship in Roanoke, Virginia on Sunday, August 3rd by defeating the Pittsburgh (PA) Power twice by scores of 5-4 and 3-2. The championship games capped an incredible run as the Xpress won nine straight including six games on Sunday.

The ASA Eastern National Tournament is one of the most prestigious youth fastpitch softball tournaments in the country. The tournament hosted 32 teams from 12 states. The Xpress record of 12 wins and one loss included victories over teams from Ohio, New York, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Xpress 14-U National Champions

August 3, 2008: The Miami Valley Xpress 14U team went 12-1 to win the ASA Eastern National Championship in Salem, Virginia. Congratulations!

July 20th, 2008: The Miami Valley Xpress 12U team ripped through the competition at the Sudden Death Softball Classic in Middletown, OH on their way to a 1st place finish. The team went 5-0 for the tournament with impressive games against top competition. The Xpress defeated the Cincy Magic in the championship game 11-3. Every girl made impressive contributions to a total team victory. This win earned the team a 2009 USSSA World Series Berth. Congratulations!

July 14, 2008: The Miami Valley Xpress 14U team placed second in the Stingrays Invitational Fastpitch Softball Tournament losing to the Indy Dreams 1-0 in the Championship Game. The Xpress went 7-2 against the best teams in the Midwest and finished as the top Ohio 14U team.

June 22, 2008: The Miami Valley Xpress 14U team is off to a GREAT start this summer (27-5) with first place wins playing up at the 16-U level at the Fairborn and Windmill tournaments and taking third place, playing up at the 18-U level at the Beavercreek tournament! The team also took second place at the ASA State tournament in Defiance. Congratulations!

As our softball program is completing its thirteenth year of operation, we are pleased to introduce to you our 2007 Fall Program. Our Fall Program involves the Express playing various college softball teams within a reasonable drive from Southwest Ohio. All games will be played on their respective college campuses. This will be our ninth annual Fall Tour. The Fall Tour has become an extremely successful program, enabling the MVSF to promote our players throughout the region. To date, we have had 106 girls play in college.
