Miami Valley Sports Foundation: As
a non profit charity operating in Southwestern Ohio, our sole
mission is to provide athletic and academic opportunities to the
youth in our target area. Our goal is to provide opportunities
to young women that will outlast their high school years.
As our softball
program is completing its thirteenth year of operation, we are
pleased to introduce to you our 2007 Fall Program that has been
both unique and exciting. While this program is the culmination
of much hard work and expense in its implementation, we feel its
benefits will bestow a truly invaluable opportunity on its
participants.
Our Fall Program
involves the Express playing various college softball teams
within a reasonable drive from Southwest Ohio. All games will be
played on their respective college campuses. This will be our
ninth annual Fall Tour. The Fall Tour has become an
extremely successful program, enabling the MVSF to promote our
players throughout the region. To date, we have had 106 girls
play in college.

T iffin
University went 2-1 on the day to capture the 2007 Xpress College Classic
trophy. The Dragons defeated the University of Dayton and Wright State
University, before losing to the University of the Cumberlands.
Tiffin was one of eight
teams competing at the Xpress fields in West Carrollton and were declared
champions by virtue of tie-breaker statistics. Also participating were Lincoln Memorial University from Harrogate, TN, the
Rio Tribe, the University of Findlay and our own 2007 Xpress fall
tour team.
The Xpress also went 2-1, defeating Lincoln Memorial and Rio Tribe. Their
lone defeat was a 1-0 pitching duel at the hands of the Cumberland Patriots.
The Xpress pitchers allowed no hits and the Patriots only two hits in the
game. The Miami Valley Sports Foundation wishes to thank all who attended and
congratulates the Tiffin Dragons.
